Looked everywhere, can’t find a control for it: in Image > Image Size > Document Size, the width and height are shown in cm, though the resolution shows in pixels/inch. How can I change it to show doc size in inches?

My Preferences > Units & Rulers settings are:

Rulers: Pixels
Type: Points
Width & Gutter: Points
New Doc Preset Resolutions: pixels/inch

Thanks in advance for any clues.

Right click the ruler and select inches.

Thanks for your speedy reply, Bob! That works nicely. So there’s no way to keep the ruler at pixels and the doc size display at inches? I wonder why it defaults to cm when the ruler is set to pixels?

Anyone at Adobe know if there’s a way to override the default to cm?

Yes – change the default units in preferences.

Yes – change the default units in preferences.

Thanks … but my question remains: is there any way to keep the units of the ruler as pixels and have the Document Size units show as inches instead of centimeters?
