Hi,

I’m the newbiest,
sorry if the question is already replied (and I think that should be) and thanks if you can give me the pointer to the answer.

I’m looking for a reader of photoshop files, it is, something that doesn’t cost $600-800, because I only nead to read some photoshop file and I don’t need to do modifications.

Look into Irfanview. It is freeware and can view and manipulate PS files – www.irfanview.com. Don’t know if it handles CS2 PSDs yet, but it probably will. In the meantime, have the person furnishing you with the files, Save with backward compatibility checked, just to be sure.

Elements 4 is well under $100 and will read Photoshop files, including the more complex ones with shapes and adjustment layers.
