I’ve asked this question on the official adobe forums, without a reply or help.

I am having a bit of a problem with VC2. I had CS1 but I never used version cue. I disabled it in CS2 when I installed it for the first time because I was having kernel panics after installing CS2 on my Mac. Trying to fix my system problems started by CS2, I eventually did an OSX archive install and update to 10.4.5. I then uninstalled the VC2 module and reinstalled VC2 because Pshop was complaining of missing integration features . Pshop is now fine, but when I tried to log in to VC administration it will not take the default first time log in and it will not take any of my normally used password/name combinations. I am pretty sure I never set a password for admin, but if I did, it has to be one of my normal combos.

I’m really stuck here.. any fixes?

Found a fix on another thread. I used system for the login name and then used either my old VC1/VC2 password or my sys admin password for the Mac, which is the same, and I got in. System and System did not work, but System and admin password did. Perhaps after an uninstall and reinstall, the password was not erased???
