Hello all kind of new to the world of Photoshop trying to create some clothing textures stuff like denim, satin, nylon, leather, fur, leather, spandex, lycra, velvet, latex any ideas??..thanks in advance!

It’s called photoshop because it deals with images, it manipulates images, its creation tools are poor. If you want to create from scratch you should be using a vector program like illustrator or coral.

I’ve had some success scanning textiles to be used as backgrounds or borders on my flatbed. Would that work for you. Sounds easier than trying to create textures. Al

A google search gave a wealth of hits on textile-textures! below is a link to 3,000 free texture downloads!
