buying a laptop and own educational copy

Hey,
I’m a student and I have bought adobe photoshop cs (the educational version) that I have installed on to my desktop. Now I am considering buying a laptop as well, and I was wondering if I could install the same software on both computers. If someone could email me at or direct me to where I should send an email, I would be greatly appreciative. Thanks,

yes you can. the user agreement calls for 1 work and one home pc. i’d say you’re within the terms as long as you’re the only one using it. sorry no email responses. it defeats the purpose of user to user forums. answering here allows more people to get helped by reading all the questions and answers.

You may be right, but keep in mind that this is the academic version. I don’t know what the differences are in the EULA.

From what I know no differences in the EULA between academic and full version on home vs. office use

I think there’s a no resale/transfer of license thing in the edu version. been a while since i looked at it (mine was ps v6).

Well, there’s no mention of "resale" on any Adobe EULA.

But you’re right, you can’t transfer the license on an ed. version like you can on normal retail one (and of course take money in the process if you want, as there is no prohibition on that in EULA).
