v7.0 File Browser – program error – when desktop icon clicked

In file browser, when I click on the desktop icon, rather than a drop down list I get error message: "Could not complete your request due to a program error".

I can find no help in support…… Any answers? It’s an inconvenience…

Have you tried deleting your preferences? Details in the FAQ at the top of this forum’s Topic List

Deleting preferences did not help.

Any other ideas anyone?

Other than an uninstall/re-install, no, John. It is not something that anyone else has reported.

Len – Thanks, strangely, yesterday when I opened file browser the desktop list is populated, opens and works. I guess clearing prefs. worked in a delayed fashion.
