Hello guys,

I’ve got such problem: After selecting desired area of an image using any of the marquee tools, then it isn’t possible to deselect that area by single clicking on the random area around. The only way to deselect that area is to use Deselect function from the Select menu. What’s wrong? How can I fix that bug?

It isn’t a bug, it’s how you use it. Try Ctrl>D. This will deselect or click on any area outside the working image. Also try you haven’t got "Caps Lock" depressed on the keyboard.

I was always able to deselect my previous selection by:
1. clicking on any area outside the selection
2. making another selection without holding Shift key pressed Now it doesn’t work as it used to. When I make second selection without holding any key the old one doesn’t dissapear… it works like multi-selection when I don’t need it. Any ideas?

Martin,

Check your option pallette up above you don’t have the link or add to selection already selected by mistake.

Mark,

Thanx a million… Although that was so simple I haven’t noticed it myself 😉 Now everything is okay.
