The problem as the following: i have an installed hooks on ‘eventSave’ and ‘eventClose’ events in my plugin for Adobe PhotoShop 7.0 (on the Win2000 platform). When the user saves the PS document throw a File|Save… or File|SaveAs… commands, the eventSave hook is invoked. When the user closes the document, the eventClose hook is invoked. But if the user modified the document and than closed it without saving, he got the "Save changes… ?" dialog. And if he choses "Yes", the eventClose is invoked, but not the eventSave! So, while we are inside eventClose hook, we can not determine whether the user selected "Yes" or "No". I saw this bahaviour under Win2000, but under MAC OS X all ok. How to solve this problem?
Note: if the user modified the document and closed the Photoshop with saving from the confirmation dialog, neither eventSave nor eventClose are invoked. And again, after MAC OS all ok.
Do not know what to do. All suggestions are welcome!

regards, Max

Looks like hookin can get you in trouble, even on the computer! 😉

Why are you installing hooks?

I want to establish interoperability between my own application and Adobe Photoshop. Some application-specific actions are taken place after ‘Save’ and ‘Close’ events in PS, thats why i must use hooks technology.
And it does not work as i expected. ;-(
