Hi
I’m thinking about building a new system to run Photoshop CS. I belive I have figured out most key things from the many previous posts in this NG on the subject, including memory, disk and CPU power. However, I can’t find any info on the level of support for 64 bit processors. With recent announcements from AMD this is becoming quite attractive. However, while I’m sure PS will run on any AMD chip, it is not clear to me if it makes any actual use of this feature in terms of memory addressing and code optimizations. Could anyone tell if the PS code has been optimized for 64 bit computing? Future plans?
Many thanks
Peter
