Greetings…..

I have a question regarding PS7… used on Win-98 (I know it’s not mine!!!!)…. Here whats happening… Sometimes a blue line appears vertically along the left side of teh image about one inch in, this line runs the entire height of teh work screen (including being visable on teh image)… although this line does nhot print, it does contune to show up on teh image even after closing and not saving changes…In addition, there is sometimes a greyish box in the upper left corner of the image with a #1 and the two mountian icons (the same ones used in camera to show distence focus).. does anyone know whats going on here, and how to rid that peaky blue line???

Thank you in advance….

David

Press "Ctrl-H" to hide those.

The blue line is a guide. You can drag them out from the rulers.

The grey image is denoting a "slice". Those are usually used when you are going to bring them to ImageReady. All images default to 1 slice.

You can also press Ctrl+Alt+; to unlock the guides if they are locked then use the selection tool (black or white a arrow) to click on it. If it turns red then that means you have selected the guide. Press delete on your keyboard to make it dissappear.
