I have about 100 head and shoulder mug shots that were taken digitally. I need to make them look presentable and consistent for print production. Some are too dark, some too light, some too red, some too green, etc. How can I create a consistent and professional look to all of my mug shots in the most efficient and professional manner?

I think you should have a professional setup to begin with.

If you did these snap shots with a non-professional or digital camera, the least you should have done is take them all in the same place with the same amount of lighting to keep the color, hue, saturation, brightness, contrast ect as consistent as possible.

Then when you go into photoshop, if you notice anything a little off, you may try adjusting the levels manually or using the auto levels option.

They were done professionally with a high quality digital camera in a professional setting. The only problem is that they were taken at different times with slightly different lighting – so now they all look different. I just want to make them look consistent and professional

Stephen,

If you have CS, you can try the Match Color command. If the pix are relatively close, it might just do the trick for you.
