This image could be improved significantly using color correction techniques. I’d recommend you spend a couple of hours learning the pen tool, using the image as a guide to recreate this pattern perfectly. —

Ok, when I said I was pretty useless with Photshop I meant completely useless.

I would love to learn how to use the program but I don’t really have the time. Which is why I was asking if anyone who knew how to use it could do this for me (would probably only take someone 10 mins with the experience).

If you are posting on a Photoshop newsgroup then it implies that you own Photoshop.
If that is so why do you "own" Photoshop if you are not willing to learn how to use it?
If you are not willing to learn some of the basics then you might as well put it (Photoshop) on Ebay and move over to something a little bit more simple, IE: crayons???

Hey numbnuts did it ever occur to you that maybe he needed this urgently and not within the time he has available to learn certain aspects of PS.

when i started out there were plenty of things i wanted to do before i actually learnt how to do them properly, and thanks to other peoples knowledge and help i was able to achieve those ends. Sometimes people get bogged down with these apps and need some help to kickstart things As has already been stated it would have been quicker to have helped the guy than come out with the crap. Its not like he was rude or anything

They certainly weren’t getting to me. I’ve spent enough time on newsgroups to understand how some people work, I was actually more amused than anything.

I know if I was well skilled in Photoshop and someone posted asking for help like I did, if I had the time I certainly would have helped.
