Creating a fill flash in PS7 – please help

I have posted this question before and got a link to the program, Kodak Digital SHO, (great program by the way but I have to believe there is a way to do it within PS7). Levels? Channels? Curves? Tutorials that anyone knows of? Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated.

Take a look at this:

You’ll have to modify or tweak it a bit, but it might get you started in the right direction. I have read that the fill flash technique you want is a combination of curves and masking – similar to the above tutorial.
