Hi,
My name is Rick and I would like some help on how can I export a file using Photoshop 5.0. I followed the tutorial by opening my image in jpg. Then I copied to a new file with transparent Contents and I pasted the image in this new file. The problem is that when I go to File->export, the export option is disabled. I am not able to see the ‘Transparent image’ that the tutorial is referring to. The whole purpose is to get a gif file with transparent background box.
I will really appreciate your help on this issue.

Thanks

I found the problem. I went home and it did work in my PC. I think the installation of Photoshop here at work had some problems.

The GIF 89a export option is a plugin, so it is possible that it has been removed from the work computer. (Possibly by some overzealous IT person who got the gist of the GIF licensing controversy of a few years back totally screwed up.)
