Hello,
I’m using Photoshop CS on an XP Pro machine, and I have a set of actions (Trista’s Actions.atn) that I use frequently. My Actions palette was getting a little crowded so I wanted to clear it out (but not delete any Actions). I used the Reset Actions command, and then the Load Actions command to get Trista’s Actions.atn back on the palette. However, all of the actions I’ve created in that set since I upgraded to CS are now gone while the actions I created in 6 & 7 are still there.
Quoting the Help file:
<help>
To restore actions to the default set:
Choose Reset Actions from the Actions palette menu.
Click OK to replace the current actions in the Actions palette with the default set, or click Append to add the set of default actions to the current actions in the Actions palette.
</help>
So my new(er) actions shouldn’t have disappeared, right? I’ve already looked in every other *.atn file on my hard disk to see if they got "misplaced." No luck.
Does anybody know why this happened? I’ve pretty much determined that they’re gone gone gone, but I don’t want the same thing to happen in the future!
Thanks,
Trista
