Hi all,

I’m trying to save a jpeg to our renderfarm server. I have the server mapped as a networked drive. It seems that I cannot save any type of file to the server.

I get an error:
"Could not Save As (gives path) because the disk is full."

Now we have over 2TB of free storage and other programs can save to it, so what gives?? I know that we can save locally then transfer the file just fine, but it just seems odd.

We are running Photoshop 7.0.1 on XP Pro machines.

Any help or ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks

Matt

Photoshop 7 will not save to any disk with greater than 1Tb of free space (due to a bug in the API that was chosen).

You have 3 choices:

1) Partition the large drive
2) Fill it up with garbage until free space is < 1Tb
3) Upgrade to Photoshop CS (that uses a different API)
