Gee, both my gif programs have an option to select the ‘transparency’. Try RTFM or pressing F1 when in the gif program.
I’m trying to make an animated gif with a picture of an arm and then a watch fades in on the wrist. What I want to do is have one photo of the arm and the other photos of the watch (with varying degrees of opacity) with a transparent background. It works if I save the transparent background as white only. If I go to Save for Web and select anything else, other than white, using Matte, it won’t work. My watch has white in it, so the background has to be another color.
