Happens from a fresh bootup of your computer? What OS? Is Norton <anything> running (other than the firewall)?

Yes to the fresh bootup…Windows XP…nothing is running at all other than Photoshop. Doing a search online, this is not a problem unique to me…there are several other forums where it is listed as a problem…but I can’t find a solution anywhere.

Do you have that number on your splashscreen? Please send me an email so I can follow up with you personally, since we are trying to nail down the cause of the error. My email address is
