It’s back.
This time only in tabloid (11×17) size, a size that printed just fine on my HP DeskJet 9650 the night before. In landscape, it gets clipped about 8" in on the 11" dimension; in portrait, about 10" down the long way.
The clipping does not show in PhotoShop’s print preview, only in the print preview of my HP 9650 driver (and in the final print). HP tells me that their print preview shows what the application sends it, so the problem must be in PhotoShop. This is verified by importing the same file into Corel’s PhotoPaint, and seeing it preview and print just fine from that application.
This happened when I installed the printer, and sporadically since with letter (8½x11) size paper; now it happens with some, not all, tabloid size prints. There must be some setting in PhotoShop that causes this, but where oh where could it be?
