Wow. I’m always on the lookout for the more unusual font. Page bookmarked! However – that wasn’t it. Dummies books have two fonts, subject and title. Its the other one I’m after (although that one did help), possibly should have made myself a bit clearer. Is there an easy way to download all of them from that site at once?

No ideas on the other font. I do however think that sales of this series of books would increase if the word ‘Dummies’ was dropped. I wouldn’t dream of buying one and admitting that I’m a ‘Dummie’ (which I’m not !).

Only a dummy would think to remove a word from a title of book series that’s sold more than a hundred million copies… BRAVO! Brilliant! You’d remove the golden arches from McDonalds because they look vaguely like a set of tits….wouldn’t you?

"I do however think that sales of this series of books would increase if the word ‘Dummies’ was dropped" !!!!

Luckily for them you arent in charge of their marketing campaign then ! thats presicely why they do so well, most other publishers would do anything to get even 10% of the sales these guys make. !!!
The word Dummies is used and taken tongue in cheek.
Its a shame a lot of other publications dont adopt the same approach. The people that buy their books want something that assumes they no diddely about the subject, unlike a lot of other so called "beginner" books that say "do this and then do that" assuming you already know what this or that is.

heres a handy site i use frequently: www.whatthefont.com – all you need to do is upload a clear image of a number of letters in the required font, to their specs, and it will search the database to come up with as many close matches as it can
