I am evaluating Photoshop 7 and cannot get the white paintbrush to reduce the selection in quick mask, as I could in 6.0.
Any ideas anyone?

Use the black? Are you trying to add to the mask or subtract? Is the brush Opacity set to 100%?

You can look at the actual mask in the Channels palette to make sure.

Hello edjh
I have got it solved.
The brush had defaulted to "dissolve" and was not working as expected with quick
mask.
