I use photoshop 7. The problem is that the fonts are not vector anymore. I mean if I type something with font size 36 for example I can see the dots. I can see the dots even if its a small size – 12, 14. I havent had that problem before, all my fots were vector yesterday.

I reinsalled photoshop but it didnt work.

I also want to mention that I got the some problem in Illustrator 10 but not in Corel Draw. In CorelDraw the fonts are ok – like they should be.

sorry for the bad english, I hope you can understand what the problem is. And I hope somebody will help.

What resolution?

Try trashing/resetting Preferences. Reinstalling usually does nothing.

When you mention that they are no longer vector text, do you mean that you can no longer edit the text? It could be that you are editing the image in the wrong mode. For example, when you type text in a gif file, you end up working on the single layer.

If this is the case, try switching the file you are using into an RGB. In Photoshop, from the main menu, go to "Image" then "Mode" then "RGB Color" and then use your type tool.

If your text appears to have pixelized edges, it could indicate that you have the Anti-aliasing for your type set to "none". There are five options, "None", "Sharp", "Crisp", "Strong" or "Smooth". To modify
this, select your type layer, then, if you don’t have your Character pane open, select "Window" from the main menu, then "Character". From the Character pane, there should be a drop-down select box with the label "aa". From there, try selecting anything else but "None".

Cheers
