When I run filters such as Filter:Artistic:Poster Edges, the right portion of the dialog box is truncated or cut off. You cannot see the slider indicators if you drag them all the way to the right.

This is Photoshop CS, Windows XP…

Is this a bug, a preference problem, a display problem? Any fixes?

Thanks,
Gary Jackson

PS I installed the Adjusted Refresh plug-in but it does not correct this problem.

You did note the minimum display size of 1024×768 on the Photoshop CS box, right?

Yes you’re right, the whole dialog box displays at 1024×768. But I still think the dialog box is buggy at 800×600: its not just that the dialog is too big for the screen, but that the right portion of the dialog is cut off, missing, so you can’t see the sliders when dragged all the way to the right.

Guess its time for a bigger monitor and working at the higher res!

thanks,

It’s not buggy — the MINIMUM display size for running Photoshop CS is 1024×768, as stated on the product box.

If the dialog is too big for the display, then some portion WILL be cut off and missing – because it can’t fit on the display.

But I still think the dialog box is buggy at 800×600:
