Hi,

I’ve been using PS CS2 for some time. Recently I needed to have my Logic Board replaced in my Mac. When I fired up the computer and tried to use PS CS2 it wouldn’t load for use. There was the warning that Adobe was worried about someone using the program who had not paid for it. Any idea(s) what happened or should I expect that when a Logic Board is replaced? What is a Logic Board?

Best,

Your logic board is the entire processor board of the computer. Yes, you should expect that. Photoshop uses specific elements to identify your computer for activation, and the logic board is one of them. That’s why Photoshop now thinks it’s installed on a different computer or somebody tampered with the activation. Contact Adobe for this.
