Using the Elliptical Marquee tool to select a red eye in photo and keep receiving the following message:

"Warning: No pixels are more than 50% selected. The selection edges will not be visible."

Click on the okay button and the selection disappears. Can anyone help with this problem? I do not understand the "Warning" message and can find no information in the ADOBE help line. Had used numerous times before with success and now all of sudden cannot use.

Thanks. ELM

Decrease the feathering — it’s feathering too much and the message is correct.

(also, there is a large difference between a warning and an error)
