Hi, I would like to create an interface which looks like the X-Box Skin for the Windows-Media-Player. If you have no idea what I mean, please look here (http://www.isis.de/~nguerich/public_html/xbox.jpg).
I think it should be done with shapes and layer-styles, but I can’t get the layer styles to look like this. Thank you for your help.

yes, he had a question! He saw a graphic he liked and would like to duplicate it. He would like suggestions as to how it might be accomplished.

Any positive suggestions for him?

If you have already created the shapes and are now trying to use layer styles to create a similar effect as in the link you posted, try going to Adobe Exchange <http://share.studio.adobe.com/>.

You may have to sign up (free), but there you will find styles (free) that simulate plastic, metal, and the like. After downloading a few and experimenting with them, you are sure to find a combination of styles that you can tweak to your desired goal.
