um, I have the same issue…

I like to be able to alt-click and sample a FOREGROUND color while I am painting; having the color go into background means I need to go and click each time to swap my new sampled color into foreground, which is a MAJOR loss of time when painting with a tablet.

Please help, how can I set this tool to sample int the foreground?

Window|Color displays the Color Palette… select the foreground box instead of the background box which is probably selected. It’s a nifty feature if you constantly want to reselect background colors but preserve the foreground color, but it’s confusing if you don’t realize that the box selected in this palette is what the eyedropper will select.

Peace,

I can’t select the foreground OR the background color when using the paintprush within Photoshop in conjunction with my Wacom tablet and pen. Photoshop picks it’s own color (neither my foreground or background selection) when I draw strokes. Help! Any ideas?

Never mind – sorry – user headspace! I inadvertently had changed modes from normal to difference.
