importing jpegs side by side into a PSD

I am using Photoshop 6.0 with Windows XP and am trying to import a number of jpg images from a folder onto a single page. i want them side by side. I have tried using the file>automate>contact sheet II however it seems impossible to make the images full size ie with no border around them. Ideally what i want to do is something similar to the file>automate>picture package command however using multiple images instead of one ie choosing a folder and not a single image

can anyone help me

This is not a duplicate post. My previous post was recieving feedback which was misleading because of the fact that respondants ignored the fact that i need to automate the images "side by side" into the images. I have clarified this fact in this post.
