I shoot in .jpg, The exif data is present in the file downloaded from the camera. But if I do any editing (such as resizing) and then did a "save as" I loose all camera data. The exif I get in that case is the image size, resolution and date…nothing else.

I have applied the Raw update, and checked to make sure preferences/file handling/ ignore exif profile tag is unchecked.

How can I preserve this info without using an outside program?

Thanks
Marcia

What version of Photoshop are you using? (sounds like CS, but you didn’t say)

What other application are you viewing the EXIF data in? (because it is there, and Photoshop would see it)

Thanks Chris I fixed my problem by resetting preferences in PS Cs.
