When creating Web Photo Galleries, I’ve discovered that the total file size of thumbnail directories created by v8 (CS) seems notably higher than in version 7. What I am finding is that the thumbnail directories of the galleries created in version 8 seem to be as much as 10 times the total file size of thumbnail directories created in v7, even though the thumnails are reduced to the same pixel size. Needless to say, this is creating a major download problem for my customers with low speed connections. There seems to be no workaround or option to vary compression in the menu. Has anyone noticed a similar problem?
