regular users aren’t able to use cs (or 7) they need some special handling:

I agree with you Dave, but i try something different now. I put the user in Administrator group as a member, then uninstall and install Photoshop again and the same problem occure again. I just don’t know what shall i do. Should i format my C drive an install all again?
I’d try to create a new id (or delete then recreate the old one) and give it all the necessary permissions. Probably no need to reformat, as it’s not affecting all users.
My Photoshop finally works. I delete folder Document and Settings/User/Application Data/Adobe/Photoshop, and uninstall and install PS again. Now all work properly, but I’m still in Admin group. So, the next thing I’ll try is to put the User out from the group and then try to start PS.

MAKE SURE TO GIVE THE ID PROPER PERMISSIONS AS OUTLINED IN THE FAQ! and you should have no problem! 🙂
What are the proper permissions and where do I find the FAQ’s? I need help here. Can’t get CS to run at all on my machine. Same dreaded message. I’m running XP Pro w/ 1GB RAM, 2.8GHz P4.
