I have tried this, and my paragraphs are retained.

I use Word 97, PS CS, Win 2000 SP4

Simply highlighted the text in Word; copy and pasted into a PS document after selecting the Type tool.

thats what i do but when i paste its only a few long lines of text and if i use the tab key for spacing i.e:

text here more here
moreh here text here
more gggggg more hehehehe

in PS it looks like this

text here more here
moreh here text here
more gggggg more hehehehe

but if i use backspace or the spacebar to fine tune it its out by 5 pixels or so and i have to cut the text and past on its own layer them move it to line up

using Word XP PS 7, Win XP Home

You should not use Backspace or Space to "fine tune" any text in any program. It can produce unforseen results.

Use the text tools provided!
