When creating a pdf presentation the dissolve option for the transition between slides creates a "speckled" large pixel transition rather than a smooth dissolve. In a class our expert says this is a PS mistake. Is this so and if so is there a fix coming or as an update?

No, that’s a shortcoming in the dissolves implemented in Acrobat.

It would be nice to get a real dissolve.

Now, I pick Random for slide changes. Then, the changes have family similarity.

or use fade set to slow or medium–slow is really slow but medium gives a nice transition.

Oops! My Adobe Reader 6.0 does not have a "fade" transition for pdf presentations. Is this with a plug-in or a different version?
