Other than rotating the canvas is there another way to add guides to each side of the file using the new guide command? I need them exactly 2mm in so i dont want to do it manually and because i work with such large files it take a few minutes to rotate the canvas thanks

Yup, just choose either vertical or horizontal from the New Guide dialog box. So, enter 2mm, press Vertical (for example), et voila!

So, then, by the same method Trevor posted…

If your canvas is, for example 8000mm X 6000mm, enter the values of 7998mm and 5998mm. This makes sense, no?

And if you’re trying to automate it:

Add top guide
Add left guide
Rotate 180
Add top guide
Add left guide
Rotate 180
