I see some nifty graphics and banners out there and I would like to do the same.
I can do the gradients, and font effects to some degree, but how do some sites achieve the graphics with the cool subtle backdrops such as lines, dots, patterns etc.
Like lines really close together or criscrossing. Or a series of dots in one particular part of graphic that look like a pattern etc. Do you know what I mean? Also, how do some sites get those really nice fonts??
