Hello all,

I’m not a professional so don’t have much knowledge of
different image editing softwares, tools for different tasks and their use. I’ve about thousands of image files(JPEG) of a design. Every two consecutive images have a certain part of the design which is repeated in both the images at the point where these images meet to each other. All I want is to eliminate the repeated part of the design from every image. Though, I can do it manually but it will take much time because the images are about 900 approximately. Besides, I don’t want to do such a boring task manually. Is there any tool are technique through which I can do this task. Remember, it is very important to me.

Now let me give you pictorial idea of my case. The images are indexed as follows:
_________ _________ ________
| || || || || | The double lined part of two consecutive
| 1 || || 2 || || 3 | images is repeated that I want to eliminate.
| || || || ||
|
|_______ || ||_______|| ||_______| Is there any smart tool that could do this job

automatically.

Here are the basics. Look up any unfamiliar commands in Photoshop’s help reference.

Open one of the images and create a new action in the Actions palette. A dialog will come up allowing you to specify the name of the action. Type a convenient name and click OK. This will activate a recording process in Photoshop that saves what you do to the new action. Use the crop tool and crop the image to contain only the part of the design that you want to keep. Click the Stop button on the actions palette.

Now use "File>Automate>Batch…" to apply your new action to a folder full of images. Start with a folder containing just a few images until you are sure you have it right. Then do about 100 images at a time. —

It seems like you wish to stitch images together. How many single images make the final image?
