I’ve created an action that resizes an image and saves for Web as a jpeg. When I try to use the action in batch processing a directory of images, I want the filename to be appended with "th_" and I’ve set that as such in the file naming options (th_ + filename + extension)

When I run the action with "Override Action Save As Command", Photoshop asks for the jpeg compression setting of each file as it saves — making he process arduous. But when I try to use the Action’s Save As Command, it zips through the processing, but the file name isn’t appended. Any advice would be appreciated.

not sure but I think you can untick (turnoff) the little menu icon next to the actions recording step
and it will stop it from asking every time
