Is there a way to remove the Edit History information?

I use CS to process my Canon raw files into 16-bit tiff files. I’m trying to find a way to remove the Edit History but so far no success. I have unchecked the "History Log" in preferences and resaved the tiff file, but what existed when I opened the file still exists. I tried saving as a PSD file but it is still there.

I was successful when I resaved the tiff file using Irfanview, however, it also wiped out all the camera info and other EXIF data which I still wanted to keep.

Any help would be appreciated.

See whether you can do it with a Exif Writer.

Thanks, though I was hoping for a quick photoshop solution without having to install something new…
