ive been trying to figure out how to make custom brushes that can have the hardness changed.

after experimenting and researching other brush creating tutorials on the net, seems that there are 2 kinds of brush types:

"those that are based on math (and can be squished and have hardness altered) and those that are built from a captured bitmap design" ( http://www.quepublishing.com/articles/article.asp?p=174335&a mp;seqNum=13)

so my guess is if you made a brush that was built from a captured bitmap design. you can not adjust its hardness.

does anyone know enough to help me out here? i would so love for all the brushes ive made to adjust its hardness.

-thanks
