I am designing something for print, after converting from RGB to CMYK in PS i can see there is a little difference with the appearance but nothing major, however when i view the CMYK image with a picture view application such as ACDsee it looks terrible, so my question is when printed will it look like it does in PS or like how it looks when viewing with ACDsee and why does it look so different viewing with a image viewer compared to how it looks in PhotoShop (7)? Thanks

Is ACDsee color managed? Does it have the same ink set description as PS’s LAB measurements? What does this app use or reference when displaying to the monitor?

What does it look like in PS’s Proof Setup with Paper White and Ink Black selected?

What is ACDsee? I’ve never heard of it.

It’s a picture viewer <http://www.acdsystems.com/English/index.htm> an it is not colour managed.
