I see you WRITE OFF the the Topic (I notice your reasons)

Robert Levine "COLOURISING IMAGES – Specific Tutorial Required" 8/16/04 5:17pm </cgi-bin/webx?13/44>

But I ask for it to be reopened because;

1. It has only been up for 1 days, so not a good amount of people saw it (despite the problem with it, 1 days worth is unfair)
2. The problem with it was from mostly the ‘regulars’
3. Nobody can reply to my problem about the LOCATION of this tutorial, even if they found it.

Like I said – "please" wouldn’t hurt at all.

Politeness. I wasn’t aware anyone HAD to respond to your demands. In the real world people get paid for the advice you get for free on this forum.
And quit shouting at us.

Can be polite 24/7 unfortunatley, it is not in my nature 24/7, but yes sometimes.

Some people are just like that…..

Okay hot_denim, let’s try it another way and see if "netiquette education" will help you here…
You are in a "User to User" forum, not a search engine or data repository. When you ask someone for assistance in the "Real World," general manners usually dictate some sort of polite interaction, such as an "excuse me, could you ____?", or "would you please ___?"
Since the Net is not quite "Real World," people sometimes tend to come across as "expecting" or "demanding" a response to their queries. This can cause some reluctance of others to bother in assisting such percieved "rude ingrates," even though such an attitude may not even be your intent.

And, although no one expects 24/7 compliance of politeness, the fact that your replies have yet to contain any acquiescence to "accepted netiquette" beyond defensive justifications will not assist you in getting anwsers to your questions…Perhaps making an attempt to "fit in" with the crowd you are requesting help from would be a good move on your part…

What’s that saying about a silk purse? Oh, nevermind. Same book different cover.

Tsk, Yrbk…I thought better of you than that cheap shot. You’ve evidently been hanging out in the Lounge too much, and de-evolution is taking its toll on you. Pity. You used to be one of the nicer ones here…
FYI, although I may not bother much with social banalities similar to hot_denim, unlike him/her, I do not demand members of this or any other forum provide me with specific information, tutorials, links, or anything else. On the rare occasions when I have a query, I DO use the appropriate phrases in a respectful manner.

Ol’ Whozit,

I was talking about HD, not you. You have to say one thing, he’s consistent.

Again, please take the etiquette debate to the lounge.
