I want to determine precentual proportions of different colors in a picture. ie. how much certain color covers of the picture. Does anyone know is it possible with Photoshop?

Histogram, although it doesn’t give numerical output.

Sure it does, when you drag your cursor over sections of the histogram. Unless you meant something else.

Peace,

Histogram gives only information concerning particular colour. For example with RGB-picture it gives total amount for all colours r, g and b 100% and for each separate 33%. With cmyk proportion of each colour is 25%.

Information from histogram is only about the number of pixels at each color intensity level, not about the proportions of each colour in the picture.
