I can’t use patterns. They don’t show up. Can someone help?

Well, more information would be really useful.

Where don’t they show up? (tool, picker, etc.)

Have you checked the preset manager?

Have you checked the presets folder on disk?

Have you tried creating a new pattern?

I’ve tried a new pattern. I made a shape(circle) with all the blending options and everything but when I try to put a pattern on it with the paint bucket it won’t show up or makes it look wierd.
