I had to clean out my hard drive. Now when I reinstall the CS Ph. it begins to open and then stops at the "installing plug-ins". I can only get out from this point by rebooting. Before doing the reinstallation, I must say that I installed the Norton Internet security and anti-virus software. So the problem doesn’t appear to a virus. I am at a loss – can anyone make any suggestions? My computer has over 500 mg of Ram, and an Athlon "Thunderbird 700MHz Processor". I have been using the CS Ph. for over a year now. Thanks for any suggestions. Roy

Read the FAQ on how ot delete your preferences. You don’t need PS to open fully in order to do it.

I got it working by going into win exp. – looking up "plug-ins" and changing the + sign to a – sign. Voila it cured the problem! Roy
