Hi everyone,
Does anyone know an automated way to add a visible copyright notice to hundreds of photos?

Any help is appreciated

Use an action, then run it in batch on a folder.

There are boatloads of variations on the theme, but this is a basic approach.

Start recording an action called "Copyright". Type your text with the font/color of your choice, optionally set opacity. If you want to align the copyright in the left or right corner, while recording and with your text layer the active layer, choose Select|All, Layer|Align to Selection… and then choose, for example Right, followed by the same steps, only choosing Bottom (you can include Nudges with your arrow keys if you like); deselect.

Continue recording and include a save AS step. Carry it out all the way to completion.

Stop recording.

Make sure that the dialog box toggle left of the Save As portion of your action is toggled OFF.

You are now ready to batch this action.

File|Automate|Batch.

Action to run: Copyright
Source: Folder
Choose: pick your source folder

Destination: Folder
Choose: Where you want them to go

Make sure and check the box that says "Override Save As information". Optionally choose a naming convention and hit "Go".

Each image will open one by one, the action will run, it will save, and then close. Rinse and repeat.

Peace,
Tony
