I’m looking for 7.0 or CS2 for good deal. I’m not a teacher, student so I can’t get discounts for that. Any one know where I might purchase either at reasonable price.

Well I think you are wasting money on 7.0. Not because it is several versions old but because 7.0 is the final version that Adobe will accept for Photoshop upgrades. Meaning if you buy 7.0 now and you don’t upgrade to CS3 before CS4 you won’t be able to because Adobe won’t accept it. As it is right now those that have 6.0 can’t upgrade to CS3 for the upgrade price. Now I am not sure if they have to pay full price or just more than the upgrade price but less than the full package price. So I would go at least CS, CS2 would be better.

The problem is finding CS that is legit and not a scam. Have you considered Photoshop Elements 5.0? It has a lot of great features and it is only $100 plus I believe (at least they used to let you) upgrade Elements to the full version of Photoshop for a cheaper price than buying the full version of Photoshop. But, you may not need to Elements is very good and has most of the features most people need.
