Whats the best way to remove exif data, with a batch removal situation, from within PS.

Some information I don’t want out, date and camera information, which is contained within. They still request a full size file.

Thanks.

The date and camera information is what EXIF contains. What, specifically, do you need to remove from the files, and why?

Depending on what you really need, I’d suggest the exiftool command line tool: <http://www.sno.phy.queensu.ca/~phil/exiftool/>

Yep Thanks Ill give that a try.

Wrote that badly. Need to remove the camera info and date stamp.

The question is – can you scan some old slides. These are from a AV presentation now we have a Digital projector.I want them for a Powerpoint presentation. How much will it cost?

OK

Job done – quality very acceptable but instead of using a scanner I have used my digital camera – smaller file size, much less time involved etc.

But this has left a date stamp and my method in the digitised image file. The date stamp does not relate to when the image was originally taken (early 80’s). These need to be removed to leave a clean image.

My understanding is that using "save for web" strips the EXIF data from the resulting file. Microsoft also has a download to edit EXIF data. It is called "Microsoft Photo Info 1.0" and is available for free download.

I neglected to give this link for the Microsoft tool. You can find it at http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/digitalphotography/ prophoto/default.mspx
