This has always been a pain in PS! CorelDraw had a better idea. Anyhow I’ve found this little trick too be useful. Try it.

Start by pressing Ctrl+A selects whole image.
Next: Press Ctrl+T, Brings up free transform
bounding box, this box has a handle in the center
of both sides and center handles on both top and
bottom.
Now make Photoshops Rulers visible Ctrl+R,
drag out the a horizontal and vertical ruler guide
to these handles and the mark center!

There is also a crosshair circle "hub" in the exact center of an object when you do Ctrl-T.

Old trick 🙂 But it’s always good to post these things. I’ve picked up old tricks on here before. Fer sure.

Setting up business cards for instance when I want logo or text block centered
I just select the background or the logo and do a control T and drag out guides.
Plus the guides will snap to the handles.
