I’ve not read it but I’ve heard it highly recommended by Daniel Kasser, a digital imaging professor at the University of the Pacific.

At his site you’ll see his portfolio as well as his most well known work, "Turtle in Church, Alice, Texas." His work is pretty amazing.

I have the book. Never used it for output. But, the information is well thought out with nice balance of technical data, image
samples during the process with many creative ideas to develop.

I want to try to make big negs for contacts I intend to bromoil process. Is there any advice on this in the book?
