photoshop crashing..?

whenever i try to load my photoshop. it loads all its stuff like the plugins, the brushes the fonts and then soon as it gets to a certain spot (it varies but mainly around color swatches) it juss shuts down. it doesnt leave any error message or anything. juss completely turns off. I can get image ready to work though. its weird. please help me.
